Draft Day 2023

Draft day is set for March 12th 1-4 pm at the Activity Center at Rushville Middle School

Minors 1-230pm (10 and under)

Majors 230-4pm (12 and under)

Players need to arrive no later than 15 minutes before their evaluation begins to get registered.

The draft is for minors (10 and under) and majors (12 and under) that are either moving up to the next level or are new to the league.

If a player is already on a roster (at the same division) and is wanting to stay with their old team then they do not need to participate in the draft. However, we encourage them to participate as this is good experience for what a tryout environment feels like. We make the evaluation process fun, we bring in the Fairfield Union High School Baseball players, and the kids get to hit, pitch, throw, catch, run, field, ALL things that are baseball!!

Kids should bring their baseball gear, wear pants, ball caps and sneakers. Bring water.

Parents will be asked to wait outside during the evaluation process. After the kids go through the drills they are released to their families and the league administers a draft with the coaches. After the coaches select their players, rosters are constructed and coaches receive their player/roster information.
